My clinical experience in reproductive healthcare and midwifery spans more than 30 years and is continually developed through my ongoing professional education and reflective practice.

Fertility acupuncture is a holistic therapy that involves inserting fine needles at specific points on the body to balance hormones, regulate menstrual cycles, and improve blood flow to reproductive organs. This approach can enhance reproductive health and may increase your chances of conceiving naturally or alongside assisted reproductive treatments like IVF.
The number of sessions varies for each individual, as every person’s journey is unique. Generally, it’s beneficial to start acupuncture treatments at least three months before trying to conceive or beginning an IVF cycle. During our initial consultation, we can create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and goals.
Yes, acupuncture can complement IVF and other assisted reproductive technologies. It may help reduce stress, improve blood flow to the uterus, and enhance overall well-being, potentially improving IVF success rates. Ideally, acupuncture treatments should begin three months prior to starting your IVF cycle.
